I can perform a prerecorded list of directions,
Wonder who I am?

I am digital and electronic,
Wires, transistors, and circuits are my hardware,
Instructions and data are my software.
I am your personalized computer.

Speech Preparations

Preparing for a speech,
Can take some time.
In doing two different steps,
It is harder than earning a dime.

Given topics to talk about,
Writing information on a topic I pick.
Putting key words onto a note card,
This is no easy trick.

With key information down,
I need to practice at least once a day,
If I do not practice,
Then how will I know what to say.

Purpose of a Semicolon

I bind two sentences more closely,
Than where the full stop would happen,
If separated by the period.
Which I often replace the conjunction.

I am much stronger than the comma,
Where reading is clearer.
Wondering who I am?
Semicolon if you so care.

Giving Thanks

I give thanks unto the Lord,
He is my shepherd.
He leads me on a rightful pathway,
Thankful that He will not lead me astray.

Giving thanks unto the Lord,
He has given me what I need.
I have been blessed with eternal life for the future,
What more can I be thankful for!?

My Dearest Dog

There was a small dog, of my life she was a part,
Since she has gone there is a big void in my heart.

She came to me when I was two years old,
I wouldn’t have traded her for any amount of gold.

When she held a ball in her mouth she sounded like a pig, called Porky
I guess we goofed when we gave her the name, Corky.

When I did not feel good I would hold her in my arms,
I would soon feel better, it worked like a charm.

When she got excited, she would lick me with her little tongue,
We always played together and had so much fun.

In the middle of the night, on August 1st, my sweet little dog passed away,
She came to me in my dream, a gift from God, the night of my birthday.

There are still nights that I need to cry,
I miss her so, and that is why.

Searching and Seeking for Him

Dear God, Heavenly Father,
Come and hear my prayer.
I know in Your timing You will show me,
Who will be the only rightful one for me.

How tall he will be,
It does not matter you see.
A few years younger or older,
It is not an issue of this matter.

Someone who will walk with me in Your light,
Sharing many wonderful memories in Your sight.
Someone who shares the same main beliefs,
Agreeing on very important statistics.

I live in the United States in the Central North section,
I wonder where he will be from in what region?
If he is from the North, South, East, or West,
As long as I am with him it will be the best.

How will he present himself to me?
Will he show me what I want to see?
Will he tell me something I want to hear?
I will have nothing to fear!

For now help me to keep my eyes focused on You,
Not on my selfish desires that I want to do.
Give me patience in waiting for only him,
Your plan for my life will be like a joyful hymn!
